On Grauth, Shrine of Faith and Fire
Set down by Witch Lord Bertwin Gisking Bearspear, Keeper of the Sacred Record

The Grauth Star System is one of the oldest inhabited systems in the Drucos Nebula. It was settled in the earliest days by the Galan of the Twelfth Fleet of Mann, and for much of the Galan Age, it stood as a major hub of civilization, rich in culture, commerce, and wisdom.

Yet like many such stars, Grauth dimmed beneath the shadow of conquest. When the Feyan Star Dominion brought Drala to heel, Grauth’s importance waned, its influence overtaken by the rise of Hebura and Lohna. Still, it endured, quiet, proud, watchful.

During the Age of the Dralan Star Kingdoms, Grauth rose again, this time as a core world of the Star Kingdom of Grim, a realm ruled by the ancient Tribe Rethe. The Kingdom, though never vast, was tenacious. Eventually, it submitted to the might of Tribe Umbra Frostborn of Camul, and later fell under the influence of greater crowns, Iken, Angul, Gaint, and Gewiss, all of whom sought to control the Catuvella Star Sector.

Still, beneath the shifting banners, Grauth remained a place of meaning, particularly for the Feyan Faith.

In 27,512 AA, large swaths of land and holdsteads were granted to the Feyan Faith upon the Ring World of Medeswael. There, the Great Temple of the Hearth and the Harvest Shrine of Hamaliel rose in splendor, drawing pilgrims from across the sector. These were not simple shrines, they were institutions of learning, wealth, and quiet power.

But it is the World of Eldhamor that holds the greatest reverence. Within its golden vaults lies what many consider the richest Feyan Temple in the Star Commonwealth of Drala, if not the entire Drucos Nebula. The Eldhamor Temple is vast, ancient, and buried in layers of gold and tradition. Some say even the Pontiff of Belgar hesitates to issue edicts without the blessing of Eldhamor’s high clergy.

Now, Grauth sits once more at the heart of the Catuvella Star Sector, its temple bells tolling in unison with the gold-wrought bells of Eldhamor. It is a world of wealth and worship, guarded by tradition and shadowed by memory.

It is not the largest.
It is not the richest.
But it is one of the most sacred.
And that, in my experience, is more dangerous than any fleet.
